An Expert Witness can prove an invaluable asset – or a liability – in a medical malpractice, personal injury or civil action. It is imperative to utilize a medical expert witness with the specific qualifications that apply to your case, as well as the ability to clearly and convincingly describe an independent opinion or evidence based on their area of expertise.
The majority of cases, are reviewed by myself, however, when necessary, I have a clinical team within my company, who are vetted LNC's with varied clinical expertise / backgrounds to provide LNC and Expert Witness services. Our combined expertise are in Acute Care, Home Health Care and Nursing Homes.
This is How I Assist Our Attorneys:
Evaluate medical records, utilizing a specialty specific case licensed registered nurse consultant. This expert will determine the weaknesses, strengths, and general merits of medical malpractice / personal injury/ civil cases.
Compile and provide comprehensive chronological written medical reports addressing the standard of care issues, medical/scientific causation, provide damages analysis with case summaries and literature searches.
Determine the medical experts necessary to provide sufficient support to their case.
Identify, recommend, and refer highly qualified, licensed clinicians to be retained as experts for testimony, case review, and other services.
Prepare experts and for the depositions and trial testimony of their retained nurse expert.
Review the qualifications and weakness of opposing experts.
Develop cross-examination questions and case strategy.
